I collated launch images of every US-launched crewed mission that reached space. There are 170 in all - for now. Who will be the first to force me to revise this poster? SpaceX, Blue Origin, Virgin Galactic, Boeing, NASA? The highest resolution original image (230MB) is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike, the same as wikipedia - from which I derived much of the data. This means anyone can use or adapt it for any purpose, provided they attribute my work and license their work under the same terms. If, instead of taping it together from thousands of pages, you would like to pay a pro to expertly print it in any of dozens of formats (murals, postcards, neckties, samplers, tea towels, stained glass windows, tattoos, anything...) try my shop at Society6. Here's the full-sized version with metadata! If you find an error or omission, be sure to let me know and I'll get it updated. I think it's 99% right. Here's a blog on some of my process. Coming eventually! |
